1.
Pursue a Career That You Will Love
It is true when they say that find a job
that you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. Most path
you chose in you teenage years will have a great impact in your life in the
coming years. For instance, choices like college course, will decide what you
are going to do in the next 40 years of your life.2. It’s Not Just About Being a Prom Queen
Remember that the race is not just about
being popular in your high school years. What really matters is the person that
you will become. It’s not only being successful in your chosen path but getting
through all the life challenges and providing value and good effect to other
people.
3. You Can Say NO
Getting into something that you are not
ready or does not fit in to your moral values and beliefs is not cool. You can
always walk away, it’s your body, it’s your decision, it’s your life. Don’t get
into peer pressure.
4. Love your family
Honor them, love them, and respect them.
You can go anywhere, travel around the world, but there will be no place like
home. You may hate your siblings sometimes but in times of troubles, family are
the first people who will run by your side and will love you without condition.
5. Believe
People may have different religions but in
life, there should be something or someone to believe in…a spiritual relationship and something to fear
of, a rule to guide you on how you relate to other people.
6. Take Responsibility
Being someone with legal age is not a
privilege, it’s a responsibility. You are now responsible to all your actions.
7. Education is the only thing that nobody can steal from you.
“Study well.” Is not just a cliché, it’s
real. If you are a genius like Steve
Jobs or Bill Gates or a rock star, then you may not require a diploma to
succeed. These are exception to the
rule. But if you are in a rule, then education is something to be taken
seriously.
